The Wedding Duo is not a typical wedding planner, but rather, a wedding adviser. These consultations are designed to give you the support and expertise you need to plan your own wedding! Your sessions are an opportunity to ask questions, review plans and ensure that the overall look will blend well and feel like you! Any follow-through, calls or implementation is up to you.
SHOULD I JUST HIRE A FULL WEDDING PLANNER?
That’s certainly an option if it’s in your budget! A full wedding planner can make such a difference in the aesthetic and logistics of a wedding. However, The Wedding Duo offers a middle approach with DIY resources and expert wedding consultations to help you pull off your dream wedding without a high cost. If you want to be involved in the planning of your own wedding, that’s when our resources and consultations provide the best support.
WHAT CAN WE DISCUSS ON OUR CALLS?
While we’ll be more than happy to review timelines, budgets and color palettes on our calls together, the goal is to collaborate, giving you the tools, resources and advice to pull it off on your own.
CAN YOU RECOMMEND VENDORS?
Due to our national presence, we don’t have vendor recommendations for every area. Instead, we’ll assess your top local choices and identify the best vendors based on their portfolio, pricing and availability.
WILL YOU ATTEND MY WEDDING AND COORDINATE ON THE DAY OF?
No. Seeing as these sessions are an adviser or mentorship approach to wedding planning, you’ll need to request a friend, family member or local coordinator to assist if you need day-of help (which we recommend!)
