MaryLou and Michael reached out to us for help with their fun and fandom-filled Colorado wedding. We love anything bright, colorful, and unique, so of course, we said yes! They booked our DJ and Wedding Planning packages, and we flew out for their rehearsal and wedding. These two perfectly balanced a faith-filled day at their LDS church with their love of Legos and Star Wars, and we couldn’t be happier with how their day turned out.

It was important to MaryLou and Michael that their day was not only full of fun but also faith. Before their ring ceremony and reception at their local church, the couple made their way to the Denver Colorado Temple for a private ceremony. Their commitment to each other was evident as they shared a ring-warming ceremony with their loved ones. Adding a touch of whimsy and personal flair, MaryLou and Michael walked down the aisle to music from the Star Wars saga. We love it when couples pick music that represents them as a couple!

After, they took some gorgeous photos in front of the iconic spire and then made their way over to the reception to start the party. Jenzy Photo was there to make sure every detail was captured. Once the reception started, these two were on the dance floor all night long, grinning from ear to ear. We had so much fun celebrating these two!

Star Wars and Lego Wedding Inspiration

One of our favorite parts of MaryLou and Michael’s wedding was the attention to detail when it came to incorporating their love of Star Wars and Legos. Everywhere you looked, there was another hidden element! Their Lego guest book was a huge hit, and their handmade cake cutters were so much fun, but some of our personal favorites were the more subtle items. MaryLou’s veil was trimmed in lace with the symbol of the rebel alliance – the balance of feminine and quirky! There was so much love put into every aspect of this wedding, and we’re so glad we could be a part of it.
