Rachel and Collin met after a fateful right swipe on Tinder led to a first date exploring an abandoned asylum! These two are fun-loving and unique, so naturally, their wedding day was too. From the outdoor ceremony at The Grecian Center to the party at Silver Shores, they incorporated several personal details. The result was a celebration that was anything but cookie-cutter! But the best part was that we got to work together on this wedding, with Serena serving as the wedding coordinator and Dominic DJ-ing the ceremony and reception.
Rachel and Collin chose our six-week coordination package. This is where Serena sweeps in—you guessed it—six weeks before your wedding date to assist with timeline creation and ensure your vendors have all their ducks in a row. Then, she acts as your head of communication on your wedding day. So, you and your loved ones can focus on making memories instead of executing your plans!
This wedding took place in two locations, which can be logistically challenging. Serena oversaw the process of transporting all the decor and guests from The Grecian Center to Silver Shores on time. Additionally, the decor for this wedding required lots of hands-on setup. To make the process easier on Rachel, Collin, and their loved ones, we brought in an outside team to facilitate that. Share the Love Event Planning did a fantastic job executing the couple’s vision!
Rachel and Collin planned the best kind of wedding—one that was authentic and meaningful to them! The unique details incorporated throughout the day spoke to their shared interests, faith, and love for each other. At their ceremony, the couple took communion with their guests and participated in a unity ritual, planting a seedling together. As the plant grows and flourishes, it will act as a reminder to pursue healthy growth in their relationship.
The couple then drove a classic car from their ceremony to their reception at Silver Shores. If you’re having a multi-site wedding, this is one of our favorite ways for you to travel between locations. At the reception, we teamed up to orchestrate a photo dash, where the couple attempted to take a photo with every table of guests during the length of one song. It was fun, silly, and a little chaotic—like all the best parties! Later, Rachel and Collin capped off the night with a May the 4th-themed sendoff, complete with lightsabers.
We’re so glad we could work together on Rachel and Collin’s wedding. It’s always fun for us to get to live out the “Duo” part of our name! However, did you know that our in-person services aren’t the only way to access Serena’s expert guidance and Dominic’s party-ready playlists?
