As a married DJ and wedding planning team, any celebration we get to work on together is one for the books. But Emily and Logan’s July celebration at Georgetown & Vosh in Lakewood, Ohio, was especially memorable. From the quiet getting-ready moments to the epic dance party, their day was full of joy. And with a sleek, timeless black-and-white color palette, it was effortlessly stylish too.
Emily and Logan have a love story pulled straight from the pages of a romance novel. They’ve known each other since high school and have always shared mutual friends. After college, they reconnected, and their friendship steadily deepened over the next three years.
Emily often wondered if there might be something more between them—but she hesitated, not wanting to risk losing Logan’s friendship. Finally, she decided to kiss him anyway. The rest, as they say, is history!

As recent Ohio transplants, it was so fun to work a wedding in our “backyard.” And truly, Georgetown & Vosh knocked it out of the park!
We loved this elegant, upscale restaurant venue. Emily and Logan exchanged vows on the lush, greenery-covered patio, shaded by mature trees. Even though we were just minutes from the energy of Cleveland, the ceremony felt intimate and serene—like a hidden garden oasis. Inside, the Vosh Main Room provided the ideal setting for dinner and dancing, with natural light pouring through the windows.

Emily and Logan’s wedding proved that you don’t need elaborate décor to make a big impact. Their decision to stick with a classic black-and-white color palette simplified every design choice, while the bold contrast made each detail pop.
Their wedding party wore black, highlighting Logan’s ivory suit jacket with sleek black lapels, which mirrored Emily’s all-white bridal look. Meanwhile, monochromatic florals tied everything together beautifully. The bridesmaids held delicate baby’s breath bouquets, and Emily carried white roses interspersed with the same airy blooms.
At the reception, low floral arrangements of baby’s breath and white roses ran the length of each long table. Black-and-white linens paired with ivory pillar candles completed the look—simple, sophisticated, and timeless. We loved how the baby’s breath paired with the white tablecloths, especially in the afternoon sunlight streaming through the windows at Georgetown & Vosh.

Of course, no celebration is complete without an incredible dance floor. Look closely at the party photos, and you’ll see Dom doing what he does best—keeping the energy high and the crowd fully engaged!
We’re so grateful that Emily and Logan invited us both to be part of their wedding day. Our roles may look different sometimes, but we truly believe we’re at our best when we work together (you can’t have an unforgettable party without thoughtful planning!).
