What do you get when you combine the beauty of the Texas Hill Country with a fun-loving couple and your favorite Wedding Duo? Pure wedding magic! Olivia and Noah’s September celebration at Willow Ridge in New Braunfels was one for the books. From the memorable details (like custom bridal Crocs!) to the high-energy dance floor, it was the kind of wedding day we reminisce on all year.
Olivia and Noah met in 2019 when Noah applied for a job at the escape room Olivia managed. Their connection was instant! Several years later, Noah proposed on the Fourth of July at the spot where he had first told Olivia he was falling in love with her. Their whole family was there to celebrate! As self-described “total nerds,” the couple loves building Legos, playing video games, and watching horror movies together.
Wedding Management by The Wedding Duo
Olivia and Noah booked our six-month wedding management package, plus ceremony and reception DJ services. So, Serena connected with them six months before their wedding date to assist with planning the design and layout of their Willow Ridge wedding. She also helped them finish selecting vendors and coordinate vendor logistics.
Since the couple’s Hill Country wedding was in September, they wanted to exchange vows outside overlooking the beautiful scenery. However, since it can also be hot that time of year, Serena helped the couple design their ceremony layout and timeline so that their guests spent minimal time in direct sunlight and always had access to water.
Then, Dominic brought the party once the big day arrived! Olivia, Noah, and their guests danced the night away inside Willow Ridge’s gorgeous reception hall. The couple even wore “his” and “hers” Crocs, complete with custom bridal bling, to ensure they could dance for hours without getting sore feet. Eventually, Taylor Swift’s “Love Story” brought the dance party to an iconic close, with Noah kneeling to “propose” to Olivia again!
Family-Centered Willow Ridge Wedding
Olivia and Noah’s wedding day was full of personal details to make their celebration uniquely theirs. For example, the couple gifted each guest a candle as a favor, but with a fun twist—they had designed the scent themselves! Each candle featured a label with their names and wedding date, so guests could be reminded of the special day each time they lit them at home.
The couple has tight-knit relationships with their families, which impacted their wedding-planning journey. After Olivia’s grandmother’s passing, monarch butterflies became a symbol of her to her family. So, Olivia’s mother arranged for us to release live monarch butterflies after the couple’s “I do’s,” creating one of the day’s most memorable moments! Olivia’s father’s toast was also one of our favorite moments. He played a video of Olivia as a young girl, where he teased her, saying, “I’m going to play this at your wedding someday!”
